The studio

Monova is a small software studio in the United Kingdom. We design and build web apps, Discord bots, APIs and dashboards, and we stay around to run them. Small on purpose: the people who scope a project are the people who build it and the people who answer when something breaks.

How we work

  1. Scope before code

Every project starts with a written proposal: what is in, what is out, what it costs and when it lands. You accept it online and that is the contract.

  2. Working software early

Staging links from the first week, not a reveal at the end. You see the real thing taking shape and can change direction while it is cheap.

  3. Built to be understood

Readable code, plain documentation and admin tools your team can use without us. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, you can.

  4. Kept running

Hosting, monitoring and maintenance are part of the offer. The status page on this site is the same one we run for client systems.

  5. Plain words

Proposals, invoices and updates in English you can forward to anyone. No jargon unless you want it.

No surprises, start to finish.

Clear scope, early designs, visible progress. You always know where the project is and what is next.

  1. 1

    Discover

A quick call or Discord chat to understand your community, what you need and what done looks like. You get a clear scope and a quote.

  2. 2

    Design

Wireframes and a visual direction before any code, so you can react early while changes are still cheap.

  3. 3

    Build

Short, visible iterations with staging links and regular updates. No disappearing for a month.

  4. 4

    Launch & support

Deployment, handover and a support window. Hosting and ongoing maintenance are there if you want them.
